The Past - Per-Anders Stenman

The life of an student, comming to you live, from Umeå

About

The Past, a.k.a. Per-Anders StenmanMy name is Per-Anders Stenman, I’m 27 years old (turning 28 this year), born and raised in Jokkmokk, Sweden but at the moment I’m located out Umeå, Sweden.

I’m a major in “International Crisis- and Conflict management” at the University of Umeå and attending my sixth semester.
This blog is created for my personal use as a forum where I can ventilate my thoughts and opinions about subjects that matters to me in life.

My main interests in life is downhill skiing, (snowboard, free riding (downhill skiing) and soon, hopefully downhill free heel skiing as well), American football, training, diet, movies, music, love, politics, computers and so on. Not necessarily in a chronological order.

One of my most sincere interest is Swedish foreign- and security policy. Irrespective to party color of the government or coalitions in power. Even tho my interest in American and Middle-East foreign- and security policy is strong I am an absolute novice in this area where I’m more of a pupil then someone who comments on subjects at hand. In the future I think I might be working with one of the above interest since I feel so strongly about them.

Technical Information

My site is hosted on a server that runs by a very old and good friend of mine Isecore. The web server runs on the software Apache where he also runs PHP4 and MySQL4.

This blog runs on the software tool Wordpress that is a kind of CMS (Content Management System). Wordpress is a Open Source and free to download and install. It requires a web server with support for PHP/MySQL and runs excellent on webserveres equipped with this.

The pictures in my gallery is either snapped by myself or persons that I have the approval of publication on my homepage/blog. The pictures are not there to be downloaded or used in any other purpose then viewing, if you want to use the pictures for anything I would appreciate if you didn’t just steal them but contacted me first through mail at this e-mail address.

Comments

Since this website is physically located out of Sweden the comments will fall under Swedish law. I am not responsible for the comments contents/substance, it is the creator of the comment that is responsible.

I reserve the right to remove or edit the comments that breaks the law, violates the classic “net ethics”, violates good tone in general or contains trash e.g. personal insults or spam.

Comments without sensible substance, maybe just a word or two will most likely be removed since they don’t add anything to the discussion.

I do not appreciate posting comments anonymously. If you want to comment on anything I have written I think you should be man or women enough to stand for it. I do tolerate that you write under a alias/nickname/handle since this can be seen as a representative for a physical being. If possible one should have a link to a homepage with more information. Comments without e-mail address or with a “made up” and obvious “faked” address (e.g. hahayousuck@noname.nu) will be deleted directly. I reserve the right to make the call from case-to-case on what’s approved and what’s not.

E-mail addresses

The field for e-mail addresses when you comment is used exclusively to get in contact with the creator of the comment if such a need should arise. The e-mail addresses will not be abused in anyway, shown publicly and will not be sold.
